Jenny recently graduated from WCCMT with an array of individualized techniques and therapeutic knowledge to treat a variety of conditions and injuries; always with a balanced approach. When she isn’t in the treatment room, you’ll find Jenny running the trails in Port Moody, playing a variety of sport and climbing our local B.C mountains. Jenny recently just climbed Kilimanjaro, so she can appreciate that its not always physical fitness that contributes to our successes. Nathan Johnson, RMT RMT
Nathan (he/him) is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Spa Therapist, graduating from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2014 and the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2011.
Nathan’s holistic approach to massage therapy focuses on the nervous system to address pain and injury, applying a customized combination of gentle and deep techniques, with a biopsychosocial framework.
Nathan has worked extensively with Healthcare Professionals, Teachers, Office Workers, Seniors and Weekend Warriors, treating a wide variety of work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, random mishaps, sports injuries and general aches and pains.

Bernarda Schram, RMT
Bernarda earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Protection (Ecology) in 2001, in her birthplace of Poland. In Sydney, Australia her passion for alternative medicine began and she gained Diploma’s of Remedial Massage, Sport Athletic Support Services and Advanced Aromatherapy, as well as Certificates in Shiatsu. In 2007 she moved to Canada where she achieved her designation of Registered Aromatherapist and Essential Oil Therapist and become part of Utopia Spa Health & Wellness Centres, in British Columbia. Later she returned to West Coast College of Massage Therapy to become eligible to write the BC boards and in 2011 passed with exceptional achievement. It is the wide range of experience, worldwide studies and commitment to continuing education that has equipped Bernarda with the knowledge and skill set that allows her to assist a diverse demographic of patients. Through personalized care her main focus is on the end goal of, immediate relief and long-term solutions for her patients to achieve optimal health.
She employs a vast array of massage techniques in her treatments, depending on assessment and the particular requirements of each individual. Bernarda is particularly passionate about breathing techniques, diaphragm release, joint mobilization, deep tissue techniques, active and passive stretches as well as hydrotherapy. Lara Tisseur is a licensed Acupuncturist, holding an Acupuncture Diploma from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. Before finding her place in Chinese Medicine, Lara earned a Bachelor’s degree of Arts with an Environmental Specialty Certificate at Simon Fraser University. Lara is passionate about working with patients to help them better understand their health and its role in providing a balanced, healthy and empowered quality of life. Her passion is focused on reproductive health and fertility, including preconception health care, Pregnancy, Post Partum, PCOS, Endometriosis, Miscarriage, Irregularity in cycles, Unexplained Infertility, Male Factor Infertility, IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) support and IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) support. Dr. Grace Yu, DC, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist and doctor of Chiropractic focusing in NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association).
Dr. Grace was born and raised in Seoul, Korea until she immigrated to Canada in 1989. She settled in Coquitlam and started her journey to become a RMT and NUCCA chiropractor.
Originally earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1999 from Simon Fraser University, Dr. Grace continued her studies of massage therapy in West Coast College of Massage Therapy. After graduating in 2002, she practiced in various massage therapy clinics and spas to take care of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and other health issues.
Dr. Grace decided to pursue her chiropractic career at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa after experiencing the amazing health benefits through upper cervical chiropractic care. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2010 and practicing NUCCA in Calgary and Washington, Dr. Grace returned home to her family when an opportunity arose to join the team of InBalance Wellness Care.

Lisa Zhou, RMT
Dr. Lisa Zhou earned her doctoral degree in Biology in China before immigrating to Canada, where she was teaching and doing scientific research in Sichuan University. After landing in Canada, she did one year of scientific research in UBC and later switched to learning body-care, receiving a spa diploma at New Image College in Vancouver.
After 2 years of experience as a bodyworker in the Tri-Cities, she wanted to apply her background in Biology to the health care field to further benefit her patients. This prompted her to attend Trios College in Toronto to begin her RMT journey. Before transferring her Ontario RMT license to BC, she had 2 years of massage experience in Toronto Chinatown where she gained some Chinese traditional massage techniques (Tuina) and was a member of the International Association of Thai massage.
Dr. Zhou is always motivated to continue her education of new techniques, Chinese traditional medicine theory and science. She prides herself in using logic thinking to apply her education towards better understanding her patient’s situation and designing a specific treatment plan for each patient.

Lisa is proud to now offer Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapy. This is a highly targeted technique used to gently promote the circulation of lymph fluid and blood, aiming to reduce inflammation while boosting the immune system. This treatment is beneficial to multiple conditions including, but not limited to, fatigue, fibromyalgia, headaches/migraines, sinus issues, edema/lymphedema, arthritis, insomnia, bloating. Lymphatic drainage massage should be avoided altogether if you suffer from conditions such as cancer, blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, cardiac/pulmonary edema, heart disease, renal failure, stroke, acute infections.
